The Shire of Beverley attended the WA Heritage Awards on Friday 25 November 2022 very proud just to be 1 of 3 finalists in our category. We were very surprised, and happy, to be announced as the winner!
The Chair of the Heritage Council wrote "I wish to extend my sincere congratulations to all those at the Shire of Beverley on your outstanding results at the 2022 WA Heritage Awards. I was delighted to see your project
‘Vincent Street Heritage Walking Trail’ recognised as the winner in the ‘Heritage Tourism Product’ category.
The high standard of all the individuals and projects honoured in 2022, illustrates why a Heritage Award is such a highly-sought after and valued accolade, and I congratulate you on your outstanding achievements. Without commitment, passion, dedication and extremely hard work from local governments, our heritage would not have a future, so I would like to thank you on behalf of all Western Australians."
The Shire would like to thank everyone in the Community who contributed information and photo's to the project.
