DOG INFORMATION

All dogs over the age of three months must be registered with the Shire.  Registration expires on the 31st of October each year.  Both a one year or three year license is available.

From November 1 2013, all pups and other dogs being registered for the first time, and dogs where ownership is changing, must be microchipped.

If microchipping is likely to adversely affect the health and welfare of the dog, a veterinarian can provide an Exemption Certificate.
