The proposed local laws for the Shire of Beverley are as listed below.

Cemeteries Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of t he law is to provide for the orderly management of those Cemeteries in accordance with established plans and to create offences for inappropriate behaviour within cemetery grounds, whilst ensuring that all persons in the administration of the cemeteries, burying deceased in the cemeteries, or otherwise providing services to or making use of the cemeteries, comply with the provisions of this Local Law.

Dogs Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to make provisions about the impounding of dogs, to control the number of dogs that can be kept on premises and the manner of keeping those dogs and to prescribe areas, in which dogs are prohibited, and, that are dog exercise areas, by extending the control over dogs which exist under the Dog Act 1976.

Extractive Industries Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to establish requirements and conditions with which extractive industry proposals, within the district, must comply with, through the regulation, control and management of extractive industry proposals.

Health Amendment Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to incorporate updated provisions into the principal Health Local Law that reflect current terminology and meet legislative requirements; to regulate the provision of sanitary conveniences, the maintenance of dwelling houses, nuisances, the keeping of animals, pest control, infectious diseases, lodging houses, and offensive trades within the district.

Local Government Property Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to provide for the regulation, control and management of activities and facilities on local government property; and establish the requirements with which any persons using or being on local government property within the district must comply.

Parking Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to constitute a parking region, enable the Shire to regulate the parking of vehicles within the parking region, provide for the management and operation of parking facilities operate by the Shire and the issuing of infringement notices for parking offences.

Pest Plants Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to prescribe pest plants within the district owners and ensure owners and occupiers of land within the district comply with the provisions of the local law.

Activities on Thoroughfares and Trading in Thoroughfares and Public Places Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to restrict and prohibit activities on thoroughfares, and trading in thoroughfares and public places; and ensure that all persons wishing to conduct an activity on a thoroughfare or trade in a thoroughfare or public place comply with the provisions of the local law.

Waste and Operation of Waste Disposal Facilities Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to provide for the regulation, control, management and removal of domestic and commercial waste from premises, and regulate the conduct on, and use of, Waste Disposal Facilities, within the district; whilst establishing the obligations that owners and occupiers of premises must observe relating to the storage, cleanliness, maintenance and placement of waste receptacles and containers, and the obligations they must observe when using a waste facility.

Repeal Local Law 2010
The purpose and effect of the law is to provide for the repeal of defunct and obsolete local laws.
