Rubbish Disposal

The Shire of Beverley operates a weekly household rubbish collection service for properties within the Beverley Townsite. Bin day is every Friday, except for some public holidays when alternative collection days are advertised.

Contact the Shire on 9646 1200 should you have any queries concerning the town rubbish collection or are needing a 'wheelie bin'.

Beverley Landfill Site

The Shire operates a rubbish landfill facility in Nicholas Street, Beverley. The facility is open every Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8:00am - 4:00pm. The site is now manned by a contractor during operating hours to assist in the disposal of a wide range of household waste.

Fees apply to the disposal of household rubbish, building rubble, car bodies and parts, rubber tyres and septic tank liquid waste. There is no cost for the disposal of clean green waste and small quantities of asbestos materials. A number of tip free passes are provided with each rates notice issued each year.

Information on tip fees can be obtained from the landfill site or by phoning the Shire on 9646 1200.

In order to reduce the amount of waste entering the landfill, the Shire is active in diverting materials that can be recycled, such as glass, plastic, cardboard, paper and steel. A private contractor has established a recycling depot in Queen Street, Beverley to take quantities of glass, plastic, paper and cardboard. The Shire of Beverley is proud to support this private initiative.
